Newly Found Fitness Motivation
19:52Is it too late for me to start with my new year's resolutions. Oh well, better late than never.
Fitness, fitness, fitness. Its everywhere today, but I feel like its become more about being skinny rather than being healthy. I recently did a cross country run as part of my school's activities and my muscles were tight and burning before the school was even out of sight. Two minutes down, 38 more to go.True story.

And so, that made me think that, although I may not be overweight, my body may not be healthy either. And while being fit is not just about exercise, it's about a combination of eating right and regular exercise -neither of which I do - I still feel like that's something that I really need to get into my routine.
I'll be honest, I'm lazy. L A Z Y (exclamation mark). I've known for a while that a change needed to come, but again i was too lazy to do anything about it. Doing that run, however, was a wake up call and it made me realize that being lazy isn't something that I should continue to be. For my own sake.
And as a result, I've decided to make an effort to make 2016 a year of becoming healthier. Part of the reason why I'm posting this is so that I could be held accountable for my words. So, this can't become some idea that I can bury when I no longer feel like doing it. I've said it out loud. And you all have inadvertently become my workout buddies.
I would like to share my journey of fitness and getting healthier with you also, not just for me, but for you as well. Maybe you've felt like its about that time you started doing more to get your body healthy. We have only one body after all, best to take care of it now. Or, maybe you've just given up on your new years resolution of a fit 2016. Would you like to un-give up with me?
